Difference between these bass guitars?

I want to know what the difference is between the Fender squier jazz bass and the Fender standard jazz bass? Im thinking of getting a new good quality bass guitar for the holidays so i can play for jazz band but i dont want to use up all my money. i know the fender standard is more expensive but is the squier the same good quality?

Yes it is!!!..I have both…
The lesser expensive Fender squier has same excellent quality as the other…
But be sure and give it your own personal touch and personality to the notes you play.

My new "all-pedals" guitar rig had its first official show today, and the layout worked out okay. It’s not exactly how I want it, but it’ll do until the 2 pedals I have on order arrive (a Crowther Hotcake and Bluesberry). I’m also changing patch cables, because as much as I want to like my old faithful George L’s, they just go flaky form time to time — and that’ll change the layout a bit.
But, I really don’t like stacked pedals, so I’m thinking about building one myself, so we’ll see…
